Dairy Ready Hybrids

At Ohlde Seed, we understand the complexity when it comes to making high quality silage with the highly variable yield environment the mid-west has to offer. We work with every one of our breeders to make sure we are bringing hybrids that can deliver high yields in all phases of silage production; grain yield, tonnage, and quality. We understand those three factors are all highly impacted by the environment and finding the right blend to maximize all three is critical to our customers success. We work to make sure the hybrids our customers plant don’t just perform on paper, but hybrids that put milk in the tank and money in your pocket.

Our Ohlde team works hard to bring high quality products to our customers in all aspects, and silage is no exception. Our Know2Grow research program allows all of our hybrids to be tested in a wide range of environments unlike the rest of the silage programs. Companies continue to bring hybrids to the table talking about performance from ideal corn belt conditions where heat and stress change the game, however our customers continue to see why Ohlde corn is the preferred choice for their operation.

Explanation of our numbering system:
Example: O 21-14

1st digit = Trait (in this case, a double pro)
2nd digit = Year of hybrid release (2021)
Last 2 digits = Maturity (114 days)
